FRYER CLEANER Product Information
Product Description
- Fryer Clean is recommended for removal of baked-on soils from fryers,
sandwich makers, fume hoods and filters. It is also an effective heavy duty
cleaner and stripper of floor polish.
- The product will not give off unpleasant fumes and does not contain caustic
soda.
- Fryer Clean is non hazardous and requires no special precautions
in use.
- Fryer Clean is supplied as a super concentrate and comes packed in
premeasured sachets to enable easy transfer to the point of use and accurate
make up to correct strength.
- Fryer Clean is orange in colour.
Typical Uses
Cleaning of fryers, sandwich makers, fume hoods and filters.
Stripping of floor polish and cleaning of heavily soiled floors.
Mixing of Product
- Heavy Duty Spray cleaning solution is prepared by adding the contents of
one sachet of Fryer Clean (650ml) to the five litres of water. Fryer
Clean spray bottles are refilled with this solution.
- Soak cleaning solution is prepared by adding one cup of diluted Fryer
Clean solution to 20 litres of hot water.
Spray Cleaning For Removal of Baked On Soils
- Heat the item to be cleaned to 200oC and switch off the heating
system.
- Apply spray cleaning solution to the heated surfaces.
- Allow 5 minutes contact.
- Agitate with a brush or pad to loosen stubborn soils.
- Rinse with clean water.
Soak Cleaning of Fryers and Fume Hood Filters
- Fill the fryer or soak tank with soak cleaning solution.
- Immerse equipment in the cleaning solution for 15 minutes.
- Loosen stubborn soils by agitating with a brush or pad.
- Rinse equipment with clean water and allow too dry.
Floor Scrubbing and Polish Stripping
- Apply soak cleaning solution to the floor with a mop. Allow 5 minutes contact.
- Scrub the area using a floor machine or brush.
- Pick up solution with mop, vacuum or squeegee to drain.
- Rinse with clean water and dry. (A neutraliser may be necessary)
- Repeat rinsing if necessary.
Safety Precautions
- The product requires no special precautions in normal use.
- As in handling any chemical, avoid contact with the eyes and prolonged contact
with the skin.
- Use gloves if hands will be in contact with solution for long periods.
- Use adequate ventilation.
- Wash hands thoroughly after use.
First Aid Procedures
Ingestion
- Give two glasses of water or milk to dilute.
- Do not induce vomiting.
- Call a Doctor.
Skin
Rinse solution from the skin with water.
Eyes
If the eyes are contacted, immediately rinse thoroughly with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
