GERMEX Product Information

Product Description

1. Germex is a general-purpose bactericidal detergent for cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces.
2. Germex is non hazardous and requires no special precautions in use.Germex is supplied as a super concentrate and comes packed in premeasured sachets to enable easy transfer to the point of use and accurate make up to correct strength.
3. Each sachet makes five liters of Germex Stock Solution. Stock solution is dispensed from the Stock Bottle for further dilution at point of use.
4. Germex is red in colour.

Typical Uses

1. Food preparation and handling surfaces in the kitchen.
2. Glass, tile and vinyl surfaces in general activity areas (inc. toys and change tables)
3. Toilet bowl, floors,walls and basins in the bathroom.

Mixing of Product

1. Stock Solution is prepared by adding the contents of one sachet of Germex (650ml) to 5 litres of water in the Germex Stock Bottle.
2. Spray solution is prepared by adding 27ml (1 pump) of stock solution to the Germex Spray bottle and then filling the bottle with water.

1. Spray surfaces with a light film of Germex solution.
2. Wipe surfaces dry with a clean cloth.
3. Rinse food contact surhaces with water before use.

1. Fill the mop bucket to the proper level with water.
2. Add 1 pump of stock solution per 7.5 liter of mopping solution.
3. Mop floors in the normal manner.
4. Change mopping solutions as required.
5. Note: Small areas may be cleaned by placing one pump of stock solution directly onto the floor and mopping in the usual manner.

Cleaning of Toilet Bowls and Urinals

1. Cover the Bowl or Urinal with Germex Stock solution.
2. Allow a few minutes for the solution to chemically soften soils.
3. Loosen stubborn soils by brushing.
4. Flush away loosened soils with clean water.

Safety Precautions

• The product requires no special precautions in normal use.
• As in handling any chemical, avoid contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin.
• Use adequate ventilation.
• Wash hands thoroughly after use.

First Aid Procedures

Ingestion

1. Give 3 - 4 glasses of milk to dilute. Do not induce vomiting.
2. Call a Doctor.
