Solo San Product Information

Product Description

1. Solo San is a concentrated quaternary ammonium compound based liquid sanitiser.
2. Solo San is non hazardous and requires no special precautions in use.
3. Solo San is supplied as a super concentrate and comes packed in pre measured sachets to enable easy transfer to the point of use and accurate make up to correct strength. Recommended use concentration for the sanitiser is 200ppm Quaternary Ammonium Compound.
4. Each sachet makes five litres of Solo San Sanitiser Concentrate. Concentrate solution is dispensed from the Stock Bottle for further dilution in a spray bottle.
   SoloSan is blue in colour and is odourless.
5. Solo San is pale blue in colour.

Typical Uses

• Spray sanitising of food preparation surfaces.
• Inplace sanitising of food processing equipment.

MIXING OF PRODUCT

• Depot Pak. Sanitiser Concentrate is prepared by filling the Stock Bottle to the top of the label with water and adding the contents of one sachet of Solo San (650ml) then mixing.
• Spray Solution is prepared by filling the Spray Bottle to the top of the label with water and adding 27ml (1 pump) of Sanitiser Concentrate to the Solo San Spray Bottle.

SPRAY SANITISING

• Spray surfaces with a light film of Solo San spray solution.
• Allow surfaces drain and dry in the air.
• Rinse food contact surfaces with potable water prior to commencing food preparation.

IN-PLACE SANITISING

• After cleaning and rinsing, add the correct volume of sanitising liquid to the rinse circuit.
• Add Sanitiser Concentrate to the sanitising liquid at the rate of 1 pump per litre of rinse water (200ppm QAC)
• Circulate the sanitising solution to reach all equipment surfaces then allow the solution to drain from the equipment.
• Rinse food contact surfaces with potable water prior to commencing food preparation.

Safety Precautions

1. The product requires no special precautions in normal use.
2. As in handling any chemical, avoid contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin.
3. Use adequate ventilation.
4. Wash hands thoroughly after use.

First Aid Procedures

Ingestion

1. Give two glasses of water or milk to dilute.
2. Do not induce vomiting.
3. Call a Doctor.

Skin

Rinse solution from the skin with water.

Eyes

If the eyes are contacted, immediately rinse thoroughly with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
